Global Encounter Ministries // Missions in India

We had the privilege to lead our first team to India in January of 1995. We took groups every other year: in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007. We are now leading teams every year. These trips will take place from approximately December 27 th through approximately January 11 th each year. We have the privilege to minister with Pastor Nazir Masih who is the senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Chandigarh. This church was started in 1980 and has since planted 374 churches and has grown from 3 members to over 93,000 throughout these congregations. What an exciting experience each time as our Lord teaches us so much about multiplication! These ministry teams consist of: preaching, teaching, drama, music, apologetics, felt board presentations. It also consists of medical missions, such as doctors, nurses, physical therapists, dentists, optometrists. These ministries take place typically in remote areas in some of the least reached peoples of India. For information about being a part please contact Donna Wallace at donna@globalencounter.org.
